Undefined variable here at smf-media
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:17:46 PM »
When I browse to http://smf-media.com I see this at the top of the page.  It appears to load normally after that.

Notice: Undefined variable: see_version_issue in /home/smfmedia/public_html/community/Sources/Subs-Project.php on line 131

I still see it this morning...

Notice: Undefined variable: see_version_issue in /home/smfmedia/public_html/community/Sources/Subs-Project.php on line 131

It's at the very top of the window.  It's nearly invisible until you highlight it.

It only happens when I first get here via http://www.smf-media.com/   After that the paths to PHP files are always defined in the URLs, and I don't see any more errors.

I'm surprised nobody else has commented on this.  I still see it every time I come here, but only via my original link.  (no filename, only server address)

Merge with earlier topic.
Can't help. Dragooon will have to do it.

Sure, but he won't fix it on his files, and the Project Tools entry is inactive in the Packages menu, so I can't even uninstall it. (I don't have FTP access to this place.)
The only thing I could do was to disable the error log... At least it won't clutter the database too much. (It fills hundreds of pages per day...)

Uh... Are you sure you want to do this?
I mean, I don't need FTP access, I just need you to fix a couple of lines... ;)

Yeah why not? Like you can fix the things while I am absent, so that no one gets annoyed because of my delay.

Hmm well I don't know...
Can't you just fix these two errors right now? I'll make sure to keep the FTP details to log in in case it's really needed in the future... But right now I'd rather not.
