LOL That was what I thought but Im using the most recent version I believe so I thought I was wrong.

Im trying to search for the anwser but not having much luck.  Could someone point me in the right direction please.  I dont mind researching how to fix it, just having trouble locating anything helpful.  Thanks!

I am running
SMF 2.0 RC2 | SMF
SimplePortal 2.3.1

I have these addons
1.     Users Online Today     1.5.5
2.    Aeva ~ Auto-Embed Video & Audio
3.    SMF Media Gallery    2.0.3
4.    SimplePortal    2.3.1

Everything works great, except for mass upload.  After the files are selected, it just hangs.  It never starts.

I dont believe I have the ability to update the PHP version as Im running my site off of 1and1.com.

Put this in your .htaccess on 1and1 servers and they'll instantly switch to PHP5.

Code: [Select]
AddType x-mapp-php5 .php

Okay...
Your URLs are plentiful.
http://s295200739.onlinehome.us/crawlinrocks2/Themes/default
http://www.crawlinrocks.com/
http://crawlinrocks.com/
You either need to make sure to use only one URL for your forum, or use the crossdomain.xml fix.
I'd be interested to know what's the difference between these three URLs -- the third one I found is the URL you set for your Theme, but the rest....?

Im not even sure how I did that.  I tried to go through the SMF admin and Gallery admin and change any of the CrawlinRocks.com to www.CrawlinRocks.com but there were only two places I believe to change them.

Thanks again for all of your help and patience.

*edit*
Just read your PM.  Ill start reading some more.  Thanks!

Fixed!  Thanks a ton!  Not really sure what did it in the end though.  I did as you suggested with the crossdomain.xml and that didnt work.  I messed with the urls via repairsettings.php from the SMF forum and got it to work.  Thanks again!

Good :)
The crossdomain.xml file is the easiest, you just need to add three subdomains to it, there are examples everywhere online.
Fixing URLs is better, though -- it's more consistent :)

Mykal,

I'm using 1and1.com as well, and I can only mass upload images up to a certain size. If I go above that, mass upload hangs. What is the maximum image size you can upload? Have you tried that?

Thanks!

Have you checked the php.ini values in SMG's admin settings area?
If it's higher than the maximum allowed -> it hangs.

(Oh my, I should be implementing a failsafe in uploader.js, silly me...)

Nao, can you explain that some more? I'm not sure what you mean.  In the SMG admin area it reports upload_max_filesize and post_max_size. Are you saying if those two are bigger than Max width and Max height there's a hang?

Thanks!

If any of these two are *smaller* than the maximum allowed size in the quotas, then the file upload will hang if filesize is bigger than php values and smaller (or higher?) than quota values.
