That sounds like a good deal .
And Nao nice of you to help out .
Thanks guys
Since I'm not in the deal (not getting a share I mean, since Dragooon never bothered to ask me whether I was interested to do this with him :P), I'm only offering to fix issues if I find them, and add features that *I* need, in case I really start using the mod and my users like it. That's the original reason why I started working on SMG, though, but then that's a free mod so it's a different situation. Win-win in any case ;)

The only thing that bothers me is that I find the mod a bit expensive for what it currently does. I'd see this as a free mod with pay-for features. I can only imagine that other people will start building their own free mods, perhaps based on this one, in which case I wish Dragooon good luck in getting his word heard ;)

Any issues if admin links their account to their Facebook one?

Can someone who starts with Facebook still open a new unlinked account?

If someone links their account, can they later unlink it?

1) No issue for Admins

2) Yes they can, I have no way of checking that.

3) Not ATM, but I can add this feature.

Fantastic mod Dragooon and for the record $20 is very reasonable. I love the fact this should increase membership significantly.

Two questions,

1. Do you plan to continue to support 1.1 after SMF2 goes final?
2. I assume I don't have to pay $20 every year to continue using it?

Nao, I wish you made all your mods paid so you wouldn't moan all the time lol

What a loser.
All work deserves payment, you know? It's not my problem that YOU never sent me a single penny in donation for the hours of work I spent fixing your site and adding features for you. And now you insult me every time you visit the place.

Dragooon, don't you think *I* should be getting his $20? Now that would be fun.

Please refrain from insulting anyone here because I can ban you(And mind you, I will even if you have paid for anything).

As far as your question goes,
1) Maybe, I will not make any promise. But will try to
2) You need to pay 20$ every year to receive updates, you can continue evaluating your current copy as long as you wish.

What a loser.

Oh, yes it is.

Edit: Okay mark, I've secured Dragooon's approval... (Thanks for playing along eheh.)
Feel free to buy the mod, *knowing* that the money will be transferred to me ::) And we'll be even.

I DONT UNDERSTAND...

i paid for and downloaded this mod...

i installed with all tests sucsessfull in the default theme...

it hasnt done ANYTHING... or at least it hasn't done anything i can see... which might aswell amount to the same thing as no connect with facebook button = no feature.

i wanted it set up tonight to show at a meeting tommorrow and quite frankly if i thought it was going to cause problems or that i would have to wait for support etc i wouldnt have brought it.

so what do i do next  ???

Thanks for the reply.
I am using the "Ultimate Profile" mod with my forum.
I had to remove the code from the "profile.template.php" file. That seems to be where the problem was coming from.
Now the error is gone. But, I don't see any of the information that should be there in the profile page.
I have added the appropriate code to the "UltimateProfile.template.php" file, just as it was added to the "profile.template.php" file for the default theme.
I have installed the mod like normal, through packages in the admin section. I then made all the appropriate changes to the other files with the help of "SMF Package Parser". Link to It. This has helped me much of the way.
Now, why do you think the information is not showing up in the profile? I'm sure the code that is being added to the "UltimateProfile.template.php" code has something to do with it, but I don't know what to change.
Really looking forward to implementing more features with the use of this mod.
Thanks again for any help.
