« on: April 28, 2015, 04:28:50 pm »

it should automatically change when a user on a supported mobile device browses to your forum. not all of your mods will be supported by the theme. i am not sure if the mod has been updated but there is some code posted in the customer area that should make the theme be detected by googles check.

Thanks for the quick reply. Going to give it a try.

Other then making a backup of my home directory and my database before I try to install it is there anything else you would recommend I do before trying to install SMF4Mobile?

I think for the new SMF Responsive Curve theme it's suggested that you make a copy of your current default theme. Should I be doing that before installing SMF4Mobile too?

Does SMF4Mobile become my default theme once it's installed or does SMF4Mobile only come into play if a mobile device is detected?

btw: off topic, but was wondering if you are the same Illori that helps provide support over on SMF.

Thanks

Edited to add:

So I found this post on where to download and how to install.
http://smf-media.com/community/index.php?topic=2207.msg15188#msg15188

I take it this is still all correct info?

I install the theme first? I see it was just updated a few days ago.
Then I install the mod package that allows switching between desktop and mobile theme? I see that mod had not been updated for years, so I am just wondering if it's still used or if things have changed being the theme itself was just updated.

What if I just install the theme without the extra mod? Does nothing work then or what?

Thanks again,

if you do not install the mod, the theme will not automatically change.
